Biography

Noof M. Aljneibi, a quality of life and sustainability development advisor at the UAE Ministry of Community Development, has over 12 years of experience in well-being and evidence-based policies. She previously directed the Emirates Centre for Happiness Research (ECHR) at the UAE University, where she championed strategic partnerships, research, and policy reform in well-being. Noof’s contributions span well-being frameworks for universities, workplace well-being initiatives, and collaborations with the Rekhi Foundation for Happiness. She holds a master’s in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and is an Advisor at the Happiness Foundation Strategy. In 2021, she became the first female Arab recipient of the International Positive Psychology Fellow award.

What inspires you?

Nature’s beauty and tranquility. The world of books and its knowledge. Sweet family gatherings and the warmth of togetherness. University campuses and the energy of learning. Libraries as quiet sanctuaries of wisdom.

What relationship has been most influential in your life?

The most influential relationship in my life has been with myself. It is the journey of self-discovery, growth, and personal development that has had a profound impact. This relationship has taught me about resilience, willpower, and the capacity to evolve and achieve what I aspire to.
