Biography

Marilyn Friedmann offers more than 30 years of experience in management consulting, coaching, facilitating multi-stakeholder partnerships, and leading marketing and fundraising teams to improve impact. She provides consulting and coaching services in strategic planning, leadership development, corporate social responsibility, community investment, fundraising, multi-stakeholder partnerships, marketing strategy, and product/service innovation. Marilyn is particularly inspired by Michelangelo. He perceived that the image of David was already present in the block of marble he selected. His work was only to chip away at the parts of the stone that hid the magnificence that was already there. I’m no Michelangelo, but I do see how his perspective relates to my work as a coach. I have a deep desire to work with motivated clients to unleash the magnificence that already exists within them. I work as a trusted partner with my clients to chip away at the things that hold them back from realizing what is most important to them and help them create a path forward that aligns with their personal values and sense of purpose. COACHING SERVICES: Executive & Leadership Coaching Career Management & Transition Life Transitions Marilyn is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, a Certified Management Consultant, and an Accredited Partnership Broker.

What inspires you?

Authenticity, nature, seeing people and the natural world treated with care and compassion, cooking from scratch, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, my faith practice, humility, people who stand up for what they believe in and who try to make positive change without inflicting suffering on the natural world.

What relationship has been most influential in your life?

My relationship with my husband. We have been married for 35 years. I could not have lived the life I have lived without him. He is my true partner in every sense of the word. He has encouraged me to follow my passions, invest in personal and professional development, and take career risks to live my purpose. He has been my greatest advocate during difficult times. He knows how to make me laugh.
