HUMAN EDGE ENTERPRISES AND MEDS FOR MORE • INDIA

Marcus Ranney, MD, is a practicing physician and champion of well-being and longevity science with a focus on mitochondrial optimization. From sick care to longevity, Marcus’ career over the past two decades has led him from the patient’s bedside to a wider stage as he now creates global impact via systemic change by championing well-being.

Completing his Bachelor of Science and Medical degrees from University College Medical School in London, his passion for extreme physiology has allowed him to conduct field research across the planet. With expeditions taking him to the sides of Everest, the summit of Kilimanjaro, across the Himalayas, skiing in the Arctic and the European Alps, he has served as a medical officer in the Royal Air Force and at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

After practicing clinical medicine in London, in 2010, he made the transition to Mumbai, where he worked within the Healthcare and Life-sciences industry as a Strategic advisor and Investor with a range of MNC and national bellwether firms. Augmenting his contributions towards planetary health, the Covid-19 pandemic brought Marcus back to the front lines, first as a medical volunteer and then via his not-for-profit social initiative MedsForMore. He has authored a best-selling book, At The Human Edge, and is a big believer in leveraging the power of digital biomarkers to hack the human operating system primed for longevity via his latest investor-backed venture, HumanEdge.
