Tomicka Glenn, M.C.D.

Tomicka Glenn, M.C.D., is the Research and Engagement Manager for ICF Thought Leadership Institute (TLI). With a Master’s in Community Development from the University of Detroit Mercy, Tomicka is dedicated to empowering marginalized communities to envision and create transformative change.

Before joining TLI, Tomicka served as a Researcher for the Institute of AfroUrbanism (IAU), a movement harnessing Black Genius to manifest Thriving Black Futures. Her work focused on reparations for Black American descendants of chattel slavery and reimagining community safety, advancing solutions rooted in equity and justice.

Tomicka’s passion lies in helping individuals realize their fullest potential by reigniting imagination as a tool to address complex societal challenges. Her experience spans organizing for queer rights, Afrofuturism, voter engagement, conscious parenting, and mental health awareness. At TLI, Tomicka brings her commitment to transformative justice and unity to support research and engagement initiatives that foster forward-thinking solutions for people and planet.

Grounded in her values of collective well-being, celebration of unique identities, and spiritual reawakening, Tomicka’s work reflects her belief in the power of community to drive meaningful change.
