Yene Assegid, Ph.D., MCC

A seasoned transformational leadership coach and systems thinking practitioner, Yene has supported Civil Society Organizations, UN agencies, European Union institutions, and multinationals since the mid-nineties. Her expertise is in designing and delivering tailored Transformational Leadership Development training programs blended with leadership coaching for executives and management teams. She is recognized for creating engaging and inspiring learning opportunities for sustainable transformation both at individual and organizational levels. Her approach is deeply rooted in Integral Theory, Systems Thinking, and Emotional Intelligence. Yene brings extensive international experience from her work around the world. This has allowed her to gain a deep understanding of diversity, cross-cultural dynamics, and global mindset. She works in both English and French.

Yene is an accomplished leadership motivational speaker, researcher, and avid writer. Her most recent books are Leading With Heart and Rebellious & Resilient, published in 2021. She holds a Ph.D. in Transformation, Learning, and Change from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is a Master Certified Coach and a long-standing member of ICF. Yene is the founder of EveryonesWorld, Ltd., a social enterprise focusing on leadership development for women.  She has served on the ICF Foundation Board as a trustee since 2020 and as chairperson from 2023 to 2024.
